In honor of today’s holiday of love, aka Valentine’s Day (it’s not too late to buy flowers and candy) we wanted to share the following four reasons why we love truck drivers.

According to AllTrucking, professional drivers make up 3.5 million people in the United States workforce. That statistic doesn’t event include those who work in house.
- Truck drivers help keep our roads safe.
It’s true! Fewer than 9% of motor vehicle deaths involve commercial vehicles.
- They move a lot of freight.
Bob Costello with the American Trucking Association states that trucks are responsible for 68% of all freight tonnage in the U.S.
- That freight keeps us alive.
You’ve heard it before. If you went to the grocery stores and the shelves were full, thank a trucker. We are so thankful for professional truck drivers. The millions of men and women keep the nation moving.
