Fido or Max is your best friend and you can’t imagine parting with them as a truck driver and while you drive OTR.  You are in luck. Many trucking companies allow you to bring your pet on the road. Just make sure you are fully prepared.

Relationships are hard. Relationships become even more difficult when you are away from each other for extended periods of time. Whether you are a new couple or are in a long-term committed relationship, you will face trials while driving OTR.

It is just so easy to be unhealthy while being an OTR driver. According to the Department of Transportation, the prevalence of obesity is twice as high in professional drivers than those who do not drive for a living. (69% vs. 31%) That just means, as a professional driver, you will have to keep a healthy lifestyle top of mind.
